​Senior Knowledge Consultant (Power & Renewables)

A global cleantech unicorn is seeking a results-oriented Senior Associate to support its energy analytics and client-facing services for the Indian power sector, based in Gurugram. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with direct expertise in power market analysis in India or similar markets. You will play a key role in developing and delivering subscription analytics services, engaging with regulators, leading energy and financial players, and a broad network of experts to inform investment decisions and policy outcomes.

The position involves leading a team, delivering high-quality analysis, and contributing to the development of advanced modelling capabilities. Supported by cutting-edge tools and methodologies, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance analytics capabilities for India’s power market and policy landscape.

• Utilize advanced modelling to develop insights on India’s energy system.

• Manage projects from conception to delivery.

• Contribute to reports, client communications, and strategic insights.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Required:

• Proven extensive experience in a consultancy, energy company, financial institution, or similar.

• A degree in Economics, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline from a top university.

• Proven ability in project and process management within team settings.

• Strong analytical skills to derive insights from complex data.

• Clear and effective communication skills for diverse audiences.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to grow the business.

Desirable:

• Experience with energy projects or policy in an Indian context.

• Leadership or mentoring experience in professional or extracurricular settings.

• Advanced data analytics expertise (Python, R, Matlab, Advanced Excel).
